About
Early in my career, I went to Art School. I officially trained in photography and later on in Curatorial and exhibitions practices. I have worked ever since in both of these worlds, because creativity is never linear; but it is responsive.One of my mentors once said to me "being a photographer is like having a front row seat in life" and I took that on board.I've since gained front-row view into all kinds of worlds, and all kinds of stories.I've held workshops in Colombian jungles, organised programs for festivals, worked with highly revered museum collections and artists for institutional exhibitions. I've worked with local councils to internationally renowned architecture firms on curatorial projects in public and private spaces.It is through a lense that I learnt to hone skills for connecting with people, places and their stories. It is through a lens that I also tranferred one sharp eye for detail, and one sharp sense of working collectively with artists and designers.I'm passionate about people, and how places make a person feel and connect. I'm excited about how we learn about the world though art and design. I value community, collaboration, innovation and play.Whether curatorial, or photographic, in public or private space, art and design are all about telling a story.See my services list for some ideas on how to collaborate.
